A trailer for the third season of the American Gods series, which is based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman, has appeared on the network. The series will be released on Amazon Prime in early 2021.
In the center of the plot is a man named Shadow who takes a job with the mysterious Mr. Wednesday. The employer wants to restore the power of the old gods in America and overcome the new ones, and the Shadow is an important part of his plan.

The showrunner of the new season will be Charles Egley, who replaced Jesse Alexander, who worked on the second season, and Brian Fuller and Michael Green, who worked on the first. Season 3 features Marilyn Manson, Denny Trejo and Iwan Rheon (Ramsey Bolton in Game of Thrones).
