He was the strongest man in the world, and now he can’t even walk

He has won the elite Mr. Olympia competition eight times, which brings together the best bodybuilders in the world

Is human health worth all the success we achieve in life? Is it worth suffering for the ‘five minutes’ of fame? These are the issues most often encountered by former athletes behind a successful career, but the present is spent in pain due to the incredible effort and effort they have had to put into their careers.

When we talk about bodybuilding, the name of Ronnie Coleman Classic (56) is unavoidable. He is the man who popularized this sport and put it the most branches. He has won the elite Mister Olympia competition eight times, which brings together the best bodybuilders in the world, and there is no exercise magazine whose cover was not decorated with his personality.

It may seem a little distasteful to someone when a few oiled men of 120 kilograms climb on stage and squeeze and show their muscles, but it is also a sport, writes Index.

But the path to the top and fame requires a lot of sacrifices, and as far as bodybuilding is concerned, the use of some forbidden means. The human body has limits and sometimes cannot withstand all these efforts, and this was felt on his skin by the legendary bodybuilder Coleman.

The years of training did their thing, so Coleman revealed on his Instagram profile that he has been struggling with knee and back pain for years and that he had three surgeries worth two million euros to be able to walk, but everything got complicated and the bodybuilder couldn’t even to stand.

    – I think that the operations did not go as they should and everything led to the fact that I can no longer stand on my feet. You have to understand that it is not easy for me, that each operation is very difficult and that one costs about $ 500,000. I have spent about two million dollars on the last three operations alone and after all I still can’t stand, but I will not give up and I will continue to fight, with your support – Coleman wrote on social networks.

Almost a year has passed since then, and new problems arose two months ago. He felt pain in his right hip, went for a routine checkup, but actually ended up on a new operation.

    – Here we go again. Pray for the old man. But this time it is a smaller operation – said Coleman.

Fortunately for him, it was a routine operation after which he was soon released from the hospital. But the bodybuilding legend and the man who removed the great Arnold Schwarzenegger from the eternal list, lives in pain every day.

His struggles with injuries started a couple of years ago when he had as many as seven back surgeries. Then he learned to walk again.

    – Do you want to still be like me, to have the same work ethic as I had? Well, as you can see, I’m an eight-time Mr. Olympia who can’t walk – the great Coleman complained to the media at the time.

Even today, he has big problems with walking, and everything has gone to such an extent that sometimes he can’t even stand on his feet, so he has to use a wheelchair.

He also worked as a police officer during his bodybuilding career, and says he wouldn’t change anything if he was born again.
