    Len Goodman’s cause of death revealed is bone cancer

    Len Goodman’s cause of death has been revealed. The Dancing With the Stars judge has died of prostate cancer, according to several media outlets. Previously, Len’s manager, Jackie Gill, revealed he died of bone cancer to BBC News. Len died aged 78 at a hospice in Kent, England on April 22. His death was announced to the public two days later. “It is with great sadness to announce that Len Goodman has passed away peacefully, aged 78,” Len’s manager told BBC News. “A much loved husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. »

    Since news of Len’s death broke, many members of the DWTS family have shared heartfelt tributes to the late dance teacher. Len’s fellow judges Carrie Ann Inaba And Bruno Tonioli remembered Len in moving tributes on Instagram. It is the same thing for Derek Houghwho officially joined Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno on the season 29 jury in 2020. Some of the show’s professional dancers, including Sharna Burgess, Keo Motsepe, Witney CarsonAnd Val Chmerkovsky also posted tributes to Len.

    Len judged DWTS from its very first season in 2005. He skipped season 21 and was also not present for season 29, due to COVID-19. He returned for the next two seasons, before announcing he was officially retiring from the ABC series after season 31. Len made the decision to retire so he could spend more time with his family, including his grandchildren, in the United Kingdom.

    As well as judging Dancing With the Stars, Len has also been a judge on the UK show Strictly Come Dancing, often traveling back and forth between England and the US to juggle the two jobs. He left Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 after 12 years.
