The US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina made an announcement regarding yesterday’s statements by SDA President Bakir Izetbegovic.
- We are shocked and appalled by Bakir Izetbegovic’s incendiary comments yesterday, which predictably called for Milorad Dodik’s irresponsible response. 30 years ago, the citizens of this country lived through a brutal war.
In 2022, they deserve better than leaders who appeal to ethnic divisions and fuel ethnic tensions. The citizens of BiH deserve leaders who will work for the common good and make difficult decisions necessary for BiH to secure its place in the Euro-Atlantic community of nations.

Let us remind you that Izetbegovic also spoke about military strength at the SDA meeting in Hadzici last night.
