Jelena Djokovic, the wife of Novak Djokovic, became famous after it became known that she was in a relationship with a famous athlete. The two have been together since their student days, and after so many years, they have become married partners and built a family.
They keep a harmonious and happy marriage mostly for themselves and behind four walls, so many things about their private life are not known to the public, including the past of Jelena Ristic, as her maiden name read.
Jelena studied economics and finance at the Italian faculty “Bocconi” in Milan. Only one year at this faculty costs around 5,000 euros, but she, like most Serbian citizens studying at Bokonija, received a scholarship from this faculty. What is almost unbelievable is that this lady, even during her studies in Milan, in order to make her life easier, even worked in a sports betting shop.
- I didn’t stay in the bookmaker for a long time and after that, I was the promoter of some events. I did a lot of things and nothing was difficult for me, it’s all for the people – Jelena recently told the Serbian media.
She lived in a dorm, with several girls. Due to many obligations at the faculty, Jelena did not follow Novak at tournaments, but she watched all the matches on television screens. In one of her blogs, she pointed out that she always saved money even though, like all girls, she loved to be treated to some new item of clothing.
- If I buy this now, I won’t be able to get the other one later. Do I really need this? Hmmm, not really. Ok, leave it – Jelena described what her dilemmas looked like.
