German coach Jurgen Klopp has managed Mo Salah since the Egyptian joined Liverpool in 2017. Klopp recently announced his departure from the Liverpool team after the season, sparking speculation about Salah’s future with the club.
“I’m accustomed to change. Important players have left the club before, and now the manager who has been crucial is also leaving. I will eventually leave Liverpool, but Klopp’s decision does not impact my plans for the future,” Salah stated in an interview with Jamie Carragher, a Liverpool legend.
Klopp convened a meeting within the club at 10:30, leaving Salah surprised. Salah had anticipated that Klopp had already renewed his contract rather than announcing his resignation after the season.
“We’re not accustomed to meetings at 7:30 PM. I was taken aback, but I had expected him to have already signed a new contract,” Salah remarked.
