    A festival opens in Venice, on the red carpet with only a mask

    Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Mostra, the first major film festival since the advent of the coronavirus, opened in Venice on Wednesday.

    The health and economic crisis of the world did not prevent the race for the Golden Lion with a lot of protective masks and thermal cameras.

    The 77th edition of the oldest film festival was not held in Italy, one of the European countries that paid the heaviest tribute to the pandemic, and its great historical rival, the Cannes Film Festival, was not held in the spring.
