Iran announced its intention to enter the market with a capacity of $ 700 billion through the Caspian NWT
The creation of a Free Trade Zone (NWT) in the Caspian region could open up a $600-700 billion market for Iran, Alireza Peymanpak, head of Iran’s Trade Development Organization, said on Tuesday.
“If a regional free trade zone is established (in the Caspian region), then a market with a capacity of 600-700 billion dollars will open before Iran,” IRNA quoted Peymanpak as commenting on the participation of Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber in the upcoming Caspian Economic Forum.
The Second Caspian Economic Forum will be held in Moscow on October 5-6. Representatives of authorities and representatives of companies from Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan will take part in it.
