Colonel-General John Kolasheski, commander of the V Corps of the US Army, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
The visit, which takes place after the successful Bilateral Defense Consultations held on July 13 and 14, 2022, further demonstrates the strong commitment of the USA to the security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the American Embassy reported.
Colonel-General Kolaseski's visit will be a continuation of the recently held meetings with senior commanders of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Conference of the Chiefs of General Staff of the Balkan countries on military cooperation and the Conference of the Land Forces of European countries – they stated.
During his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the colonel-general will meet with the Minister of Defense of BiH Sifet Podzic, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colonel-General Senad Mašović, the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela Mekgaha (McGaha), and the Commander of EUFOR, General- Major Anton Veseli (Wessely).
