Season finals schedule announced
The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) confirmed on Monday that the Masters 1000 tournament in Shanghai will not be played this year either, as well as the two ATP 250 series tournaments in Chengdu and Zhuhai, and the reason is the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ATP has also announced the final tournament scheduled for the last quarter of 2021, and these are tournaments that will be played between September 20 and November 21.
So in the 38th week, from 20.9. to 26.9. The hosts of the ATP 250 tournament will be Nur Sultan and Metz, and in the same week from September 24 to 26. Boston to host the Laver Cup.
From 27.9. to 3.10. The hosts of the ATP 250 tournament are San Diego and Sofia and from 7.10. to 17.10. Indian Wells will host tennis players at the BNP Paribas Open, which has been moved from spring to autumn.
From 18 to 24.10. ATP 250 tournaments will be played in Moscow and Antwerp, and from October 25 to 31. St. Petersburg will host tennis players at the ATP 250 tournament, while Vienna will host the 500 series competition.
In the week from 1. to 7.11. the Paris Masters 1000 is next, followed by the ATP 250 tournament in Stockholm (November 7-13) and the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan (November 9-13).
The final tournament of the eight best tennis players and the eight best couples, the Nitto ATP Finals, will be held from November 14 to 21, and for the first time, Torino will be the host, Hina reports.
