Pop diva Jelena Karleuša has taken the world by storm with her double album release, “Alfa” and “Omega,” which continues to captivate listeners nearly a year after their debut. Notably, her track “Lucifer” has achieved global acclaim, resonating widely on streaming platforms and social media.
Karleuša’s “Lucifer” has gained significant traction on Spotify and TikTok, where a younger audience is seen dancing and creating content to the song’s beat. The track’s success has extended even to Asia, reflecting its international appeal.
“We are experiencing incredible reactions due to the global viral nature of the song,” Karleuša explained. “In Asia, for instance, it’s fascinating to see how much they enjoy ‘Lucifer.’ In my opinion, the new ‘Gangnam Style’ is ‘Takita.’ I’m confident it will become a major hit, but it will take time. It’s known that my songs often need a while for people to fully appreciate them.”
Karleuša also discussed her approach to music, distinguishing herself from trends that come and go quickly. “I don’t make songs that are just part of the current music trend,” she said. “Such songs and artists quickly lose their appeal, and people seek something new, which leads to short-lived careers. No one remembers those songs after three months. I prefer to create music that will still be remembered 10, 20, or even 30 years from now. I want people to look back and ask, ‘Is it possible that Karleuša recorded this 25 years ago?'”
Jelena Karleuša’s timeless approach to music and her ongoing success highlight her enduring influence and ability to connect with audiences across the globe.
