President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020 No. 822, which the parliament adopted at an extraordinary session on August 25.
It is noted that the President initiated this law in order to improve the quality of life of citizens by increasing the income of the working population.
Earlier, the law was signed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov.
According to the law, from September 1, the minimum wage will rise to UAH 5,000.

As reported, at an extraordinary meeting on August 25, the Rada supported, in general, the bill No. 3963 “On Amendments to the Law” On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020 “, which provides for an increase in the minimum wage to UAH 5,000 from September 1, 2020.
The Cabinet of Ministers, in turn, from September 1, increased official salaries in all tariff categories in connection with the increase in the minimum wage in the country to UAH 5,000.
