    Says valuable flight operations manuals disappear and requires reporting

    Entrepreneur Michele Ballarin has requested that testimonies be taken from eleven individuals connected to WOW air, due to flight operations manuals that are said to have disappeared.

    The books were among those to follow when Ballarin’s company bought assets from the bankrupt estate of WOW air. However, they have not been found, according to a claim that lawyer Pall Agust Olafsson has sent to the Reykjavik District Court on behalf of Ballarin.

    In Frettabladid today said that in the case of a valuable asset purchased the bankrupt estate. The books are, among other things, a prerequisite for obtaining an operating license from the Icelandic Transport Authority.

    The books include a training manual, a quality manual, a maintenance manual and a safety manual.

    “My client has reason to believe that a copy of the above-mentioned flight operations manuals, together with accompanying documents, was made without the authorization and knowledge of my client, and that the data was used by a third party to apply for an operating license,” Frettabladid simulates Páll.

    The airline in question is Play, but among those who are required to report are Arnar Mar Magnusson, Sveinn Ingi Steinporsson, and Poroddur Poroddsson, Play’s representatives.
