One of the best shooting experiences I’ve ever had – said Springing
Bruce Springsteen has released a new single “Letter to you” announcing the release of the self-titled album, recorded live at his home studio in New Jersey.
– I like the emotional nature of “Letter to you” and I like the sound of the E Street Band as it plays live in the studio, in a way we’ve never done before, and without recording. We recorded the album in just five days and it turned out to be one of the best recording experiences I have ever had – it is stated in Springsteen’s written statement.
In addition to nine new songs, the album will include three (“Janey needs a shooter”, “If I was a priest”, and “Song for orphans”) created before Springsteen’s 1973 debut with “Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ “and are now finally recorded in the studio and will see the light of day on October 23rd.
