The amount that the highest bidder will provide will go to a fund run by Bezos, a company called Club for the Future. The fund’s goal is to support the continued growth of various scientific disciplines, with an emphasis on research into the lives of humans in space, according to the fund’s website.

The Bezos brothers’ space mission and the undercover bidder are scheduled for July 20. Bezos reported this in an Instagram post the other day.
