While many expected it, Apple is unlikely to incorporate a fingerprint reader into the iPhone 13 screen.
This information is brought by the latest rumors, and they coincide with the predictions of the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has already announced that the Touch ID will not be built into the iPhone screen until 2022, ie in the iPhone 14.
The reason for this move is allegedly the dissatisfaction of Apple’s engineers with the results that this technology provides, so they decided to further improve it accordingly. Thus, this year’s iPhone, which will be presented next month, will probably continue to use Face ID, ie a 3D camera for face recognition, for biometric security.
