    Putin signed a decree on the payment of the 10 thousandth subsidy for schoolchildren

    President pledged to help families with school-age children in April by reading a message to the Federal Assembly

    Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the payment of a one-time subsidy of 10,000 to families with school-age children. This was reported on Friday, July 2, by the Kremlin press service.

    “In order to provide social support for families with children, I decide 1. Make a one-time payment in the amount of 10,000 rubles to the following citizens of the Russian Federation residing in the territory of the Russian Federation in August – December 2021:

    a) one of the parents (adoptive parents, guardians, trustees) of children aged 6 to 18 years, who have Russian Federation citizenship (provided that the child reaches the age of 6 not later than September 1, 2021);

    b) people with disabilities, persons with disabilities aged 18 to 23, who have Russian citizenship and study in basic general education programs, or one of their parents (legal representatives), ”the text of the decree says.

    On April 21, reading an address to the Federal Assembly, Putin promised that the state would pay families with school-age children 10 thousand rubles each.

    Later, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection announced that it would begin accepting applications for benefits from mid-July.
