English duo Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie will once again join forces in the spy thriller “Five Eyes”, which is being produced by “Miramax”.
Statham will play an agent recruited by the global intelligence alliance “Five Eyes” to stop the sale of deadly weapons that threaten to disrupt the world order.
Reluctantly paired with a CIA high-tech expert, he embarks on a mission in which he will have to use all his charm, ingenuity, and invisibility to track down and infiltrate a network of powerful arms dealers.
Richie will direct and produce the film, while the screenplay will be written by Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davis.
The first shots of the film should be shot next month.
Statham and Richie have previously collaborated on three projects, and the last in a series is the action thriller “Cash Truck”, which should be released in January 2021.
Prior to that, they worked on the cult titles “Lock, Stocks and Two Smoking Barrels” and “Snow”.
