These brands, along with the domestic Lada, led the market in sales, surpassing 1.1 million new vehicles sold in Russia. Domestic brand AvtoVAZ emerged as the market leader, selling 352,500 vehicles, an 87% increase from the previous year. Chinese brands Haval and Chery followed, with sales of 119,000 and 118,000 vehicles, respectively. Haval’s sales grew more than 3.5 times compared to 2022, while Chery saw a threefold increase. Geely, another Chinese brand, sold 84,000 vehicles, showing significant growth from 24,400 in 2022.
