Polish President Andrzej Duda paid a two-day official visit to Latvia on Wednesday and Thursday to discuss regional security and support for Ukraine with his Latvian counterpart Egils Levits and others officials, local media reported.
Mr. Levits said Poland and the Baltic states have largely set the political agenda of the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) since the start of the conflict in Ukraine.
Mr Duda said the Rail Baltica rail infrastructure project, which will connect Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to Poland, was important as it will facilitate the mobility of people and also enable the transport of military goods.
