Recently, a new Moon wine restaurant opened in Krasnogorsk and immediately won the title of one of the most stylish and atmospheric places in the Moscow region among the first guests. Its slogan sounds like “Food at altitude” – this is really an institution with a high level of service and cuisine. The eclectic interior, combining loft and art deco details, is reminiscent of stylish European locations.
Luxurious furniture with a laconic design, a ceiling with metal pipes, a huge decorative panel in the form of a stylized moon, and an abundance of fresh greenery look incredibly organic together.
The young chef Alexander Mednikov, who previously worked in the restaurant’s Ragout, Dom 12, Erwin, is in charge of the kitchen. RiverMoreOkean ”, Glenuill, Remy Kitchen Bakery, a student of the famous chef Andrey Chetvertny. His work at Moon is fusion with Italian and French accents, as well as trendy European street food. The menu is laconic, but the selection of cold and hot snacks, salads, soups, hot dishes will satisfy every taste. The business cards of Italian cuisine are highlighted in separate sections: pizza, pasta and risotto. To the list of must-haves for tasting, you should add vegetables with roast beef and airy feta mousse (630 rubles), veal cheeks with chervil and parsnip puree (700 rubles), and popular poke – for example, with tuna, chukka, pak-choi, and tandem unagi sauce and chili-pineapple-honey (490 rubles).
An extensive wine list is a special sign of the restaurant: more than 200 wines from all over the world are skillfully selected here. On Thursdays, Moon hosts tastings with a professional sommelier, who shares with guests the skill of choosing flavors and combinations.
Space can accommodate up to 300 guests, three halls are open: you can quietly retire with a small company, or you can find yourself in the center of the general atmosphere. A children’s room is organized for younger guests. On weekends, Moon often hosts live cover bands with trendy DJs at the DJ booth.
