I want to work with young people in Greece.
The basketball player who was once one of the best centers in the Euroleague is finishing his career, reports “MegaloPreneur.com”. Sofoklis Skorcanitis (Schortsanitis), a player who was dominant in the Euroleague ten years ago, decided to give the chance to the younger ones.
– I probably won’t keep playing. Last season ended early, so I had plenty of time to think and adjust to the new situation. I’m still thinking about it, but I probably won’t play anymore. I had a 20-year career, so I’m fine with that. I would love to work with young players. There are many talents in Greece and I want to be the one to help them promote and develop, said Skorcanitis whom they called Baby Shack.
His last club was Ionikos from Nicaea, and he previously played for Iraklis, Kanta, Aris, Olympiacos, Maccabi, Panathinaikos, again Maccabi, Red Star, PAOK, and Aries from Trikala.
