Even when the wardrobe is overflowing with things, girls can still face the eternal problem of “nothing to wear”. Fortunately, a solution to the problem has already been found: you need to approach shopping more responsibly and follow a few simple rules – they will help you create a full wardrobe.
Before you go shopping, you need to understand what specific item you need. Don't grab every beautiful item and run to the checkout: this way you will not only waste money but also be left without the necessary wardrobe item. Stop: remember what you came for, think about whether the chosen model is a necessity for you.
Everyone has their own taste and understanding of what suits them. When you go to a store, your gaze falls on things that are most likely to look good on you. Let's look at a specific example: you see a sweater in your favorite color (let it be red) and go to the fitting room. The item fits perfectly and emphasizes your skin tone, and there is no reason to complain about the quality. It would seem, what else could you dream of?
You pay for your purchase and return home feeling happy. You unpack the sweater and remember that there are already five more sweaters of the same shade hanging in the closet.
Here it is important to say “stop” to yourself and realize that such a thing is already in the closet. A wardrobe consisting of the same shades and models is uninteresting. Important: we are not talking about work clothes – we are talking about everyday clothes.
Before making a purchase, think about what you can combine the new item with. Mentally create several complete looks: a bag, shoes, outerwear – every detail is important.
You can often face the problem when there are no matching shoes for a new skirt or dress. You put the item aside and at some point simply forget about its existence or suffer for a long time trying to find at least something. Such a conscious method will help you avoid buying unnecessary things and will allow you to use each wardrobe item effectively.
Even if you weren't good at math at school, don't be scared. People like to buy cheap things and fill their wardrobes with them. People don't want to think that after the first wash, they can go to the store for new clothes again.
You should never skimp on clothes that are meant to be worn on a daily basis. Jeans or trousers can cost 5,000 rubles, but you will wear them more than once and more than one season. Each outing will cost about 150 rubles – cheaper than a cup of coffee.
But you can wear an evening dress a couple of times, but spend several times more money – think about what you should save on.
If you stumble upon a skirt in a store that you really like, stop and think. Do you really need such a thing in your wardrobe? Will it fit into your style? Do you really like this particular skirt? Or is it just the bargain price? The best solution: take a photo in the fitting room and go home.
The next day, weigh up the pros and cons and only then go shopping again. Items bought impulsively often sit on the shelves unused and simply take up space.
