Efes basketball players registered a new victory at the Gloria Cup in Antalya, as at the end of the tournament they were better than the Lithuanian Zalgiris and celebrated with a score of 75:64.
It was an even fight during three quarters, but Andrea Trinchieri’s team faltered in the last ten minutes, during which they scored only nine points. Efes took advantage of that and gained a double-digit advantage and a convincing victory.

In the Žalgiris team, Francisco and Ignas Brazdeikis were the most effective with 10 points each, and the recent Partizan basketball player Alen Smailagić finished the match with 7 points, one rebound and two assists in 15 minutes of play.
A little earlier, in the same tournament, Alba convincingly defeated the team of Tofaš with 89:62, and the most effective player in the winning team was Gabriele Proćida with 13 points.
Berk Demir led the Tofas team with 11 points, and another recent member of Partizan, Uroš Trifunović, finished the match without points in about five and a half minutes of play.
