Kings Man premiere postponed until 2021

The film was due out in September.

Disney has announced that it is postponing the premiere of Kings Man from September 18, 2020, to February 26, 2021. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the decision was made as cinemas in California and New York are still closed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, although cinemas in the rest of the US have already begun to open.

As the newspaper notes, the decision to postpone the premiere was not completely unexpected, since recently the film has not been actively advertised. However, it may not be pleasant for cinemas as they rely on fresh releases to show to viewers.

It is also noted that Disney has decided to release several new films for distribution. So, “New Mutants” and “The Story of David Copperfield” have already been released.

“”Kings Man” will be a prequel to earlier films. The film will take place before and during the First World War. In it, you can see real historical characters of that era: Grigory Rasputin, Gavrila Princip, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and others.

The roles in the film were played by Harris Dickinson, Rhys Ivans, Daniel Bruhl, Charles Dance, Rafe Fiennes, and others.
