The Saudi Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, announced the discovery of the Saudi Oil Company, Aramco, of two new oil and gas fields in the northern parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Aramco discovered the “Hadat Al-Hujrah” gas field in the Al-Jawf region, and the “Abraq Al-Touloul” oil and gas field in the northern borders of the country, according to what the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the Minister of Energy said that “condensate-rich gas flowed from the Al-Sarara reservoir in the Haddat Al-Hajrah field, east of Sakaka, at a rate of 16 million standard cubic feet per day, accompanied by about 1944 barrels of condensate,” while noting that “oil Al-Arabi Al-Khafif Al-Mumtaz unconventional flowing from the Al-Sharura reservoir in the Abraq Al-Toulol field in the southeast of Arar city, at a rate of 3,189 barrels per day, accompanied by about 1.1 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. Standard cubic per day, accompanied by 49 barrels per day of condensate. “
The prince stated that Aramco will continue to evaluate the quantities of oil and gas in the two fields, in addition to continuing to drill more wells to determine the area and size of the discovered fields.
