    Halloween party extravaganza brings mysticism and vampire lore to life

    Attendees also participated in a special form of fortune-telling, drawing their fortune from an array of legendary relics in a happiness bag. Vampire fangs, spiders, and bats promised fortune, adventure, and self-transformation. Those who did not have their ceremonial turn on stage could have their fortunes predicted personally, as runologist Mari Raido was available to read the runes. For the discerning connoisseur, there was also an opportunity to create rune bracelets to take home as souvenirs.

    Professional artist Olga Lapinskaya was kept busy, so no matter how hard the “vampires” tried to hide, they all left with portraits as colorful as the best mirror!

    Food also did not let us down: “Dogs in the Fog” with drinks, “Magnate” with blueberry ice cream, and Happy Corn with delicious crispy healthy snacks.

    The Hookah came with dessert, when Like Book Editor-in-Chief Inga Doeva and Editor Daria Velikokhatko presented new literary releases people would be able to take home. Featured authors include Ivy Asher, Marie Nykhoff, Sara Raasch, Asya Lavrinovich, Jeon Sam-hye, Kathryn Purdy, and others.
