Fed up of ballerina flats? Find most beautiful trends high heels in autumn 2024

Autumns in 2024 will bring back high heels with fresh confident steps, bringing elegance that will be an alternative to the recent years’ flat shoe trends. Among the main shoe, trends include pointy slingbacks with kitten heels, loafer pumps with a preppy twist, and eye-catching patent leather styles.

Whether casual jeans or crisp fall trouser styles, these heels will just add that much glamour and sophistication to an outfit. These must-have heels from some trendsetters are so fascinating; be it office wear or casual off-duty.

A few years ago, white sneakers were the ones that pushed heels to the back of the closet. This year, too, one flat shoe trend followed the next – ballerinas being one of the most prominent examples.

In autumn 2024, however, it is finally back – the desire for high heels, which may be a little less comfortable than flat ballerinas, loafers, and the like, but which add a touch of elegance to any autumn outfit and ensure a confident appearance on the go. The most important shoe trends with heels have also been decided because no trendsetter can ignore these three looks in autumn 2024.

Shoe trends with heels in Autumn 2024: Pointy slingbacks

Pointy slingbacks are undoubtedly one of the most important shoe trends for fall 2024, as they were seen all over the catwalk and are currently worn up and down my street style professionals. The basis of the look is classic pumps with a pointed (“pointy”) toe cap and a strap wrapped around the heel. In fall 2024, the heels are preferably kept low – keyword: kitten heels! – for a modern look and more comfort.

In combination, this adds a feminine, classically elegant accent to autumnal styles and always creates a glamorous contrast to casual jeans. It doesn’t matter whether you choose a timeless model in black, the trendy mesh version, or pumps with a buckle on the instep.

Shoe trends with heels in Autumn 2024: Loafer pumps

Loafer pumps are also brand new on the trend radar for high heels in autumn 2024. That sounds like a typical ugly look, but they look surprisingly elegant and classy. But first things first: As the name suggests, this shoe trend is about classic loafers, which are not interpreted with flat or chunky soles, but with a (block) heel.

This allows two shoe models to merge into a completely new look and brings a preppy twist that harmonizes perfectly with pleated skirts, flared jeans, or pants suits, for example. For us, the coolest newcomer of the season!

Shoe trends with heels in autumn 2024: patent leather

The shoe trends for heels in fall 2024 also announce patent leather as the go-to look of the new season. The high-gloss finish makes heels an eye-catcher on the feet and gives them a super classy touch.

Especially if you choose pointed pumps, Mary Jane models, or slingbacks with a patent leather finish. And: While black always looks elegant, dark brown nuances and rich burgundy tones are also popular in autumn 2024. Either way: You can wear the high heels in the office with a blazer and satin skirt, but you can also style them in your free time as a highlight with autumn trouser trends or double denim looks.
