Dakota Johnson is known for her casual, relaxed style and is therefore always a good source of outfit inspiration . And we can also learn something from the actress for the fall . She is leaving the jeans in the closet and opting for a completely different pair of pants that are perfect for fall 2024.
Fall 2024: We and Dakota Johnson are now betting on this casual trouser trend
In autumn we always like to go for warm , natural colours such as brown, dark green, rust or beige. They create a cosy vibe that fits perfectly with the autumn aesthetic with colourful leaves, pumpkins, pumpkin spice lattes and the obligatory Gilmore Girls marathon. And as much as we love our jeans, sometimes they just don’t fit with this vibe. Dakota Johnson probably thought the same thing recently when she wore what was probably the perfect autumn outfit in New York. She combined a dark green trench coat and brown velour shopper with loose corduroy trousers instead of jeans.
With the long green trench coat and the cool XXL shopper, the 34-year-old has already ticked two of the season’s big trends off her checklist. Dakota Johnson then paired the two pieces in warm, natural tones with dark brown corduroy trousers with a loose, cropped cut that fit perfectly into the color scheme and autumn. She combined this with high black socks and surprisingly bright sneakers, which made for an eye-catcher à la “Wrong Shoe Theory”.
Corduroy trousers: How to combine the autumn trend
Corduroy trousers are particularly popular due to their soft, velvety structure, which makes them almost fluffy. This makes them a perfect match for the autumnal feel-good vibes. The trousers also combine the best of jeans and velvet or velour trousers : The trousers are as casual as jeans, but are visually more interesting with their texture and the often rich, warm colours. This means that the autumn trend goes perfectly with cozy knitwear and all the current trend colours – and if you choose a cut that you love in jeans, you are guaranteed to love the cozy autumn trousers made of corduroy too.
