Maja Cengic – Miralem on online teaching and return to school

The teaching process has changed greatly in the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. Socializing in school hallways and on big vacations was replaced by sad looks and greetings via social media. The life of schoolchildren took place within four walls, and the “window” to the world was the screen of a computer, laptop, or mobile phone. However, this school year, schoolchildren are returning to school.The recognizable face of small screens, gladly seen in Bosnia and Herzegovina. homes are certainly Maja Cengic-Miralem, who selflessly transmits positive energy to all who are near her.

In addition to being successful in her business, Maja is the mother of nine-year-old Vanja, who will soon be in the fourth grade of elementary school. She told us that Vanja enjoys the holidays, just like all the other children, and that for the first time he was a completely independent boy. During his stay at the international camp, he met new friends.

After our stay in the camp, we went to the sea as a family – said Maja, who, after returning from vacation, took on obligations related to the Sarajevo Film Festival.

When asked if Vanja is looking forward to returning to school and if he misses his friends, Maja answered that Vanja likes to hang out with her friends and that she can’t wait for the new school year to start. He emphasizes that returning to school is stressful for all parents, but, as Vanja acquired work habits in kindergarten, and he easily fulfills the tasks that lie ahead of him, this is not the case in their home.
