US intelligence failed to explain the origin of most UFO sightings

The alien nature of “flying saucers” was ruled out.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence of the United States of America has recently published a report on unidentified air phenomena, or, as they used to be called, – unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Despite the fact that the US intelligence officers reacted with great skepticism to the existence of alien intelligence, researchers could not explain the vast majority of cases of UFO appearance.

In total, the report considered 144 reports of UFOs, 80 of which were recorded by several sensors at once. US intelligence has discovered certain patterns in the physical data (shape and size) and behavior (unusual patterns of movement) of “flying saucers.” It was determined that they can remain stationary in the air even in strong winds, carefully maneuver or move sharply at a significant speed without acceleration.

The US National Office of Military Space Intelligence believes that UFOs could be recorded due to a variety of interference in the air, natural atmospheric phenomena, US weapons tests, secret developments of foreign countries, or other reasons.

The authors of the report do not believe in the existence of alien intelligence and its hidden activities on our planet. Most of all, United States intelligence is concerned about the possibility of a potential adversary possessing breakthrough or revolutionary technologies in the field of aircraft concealment. This enables military espionage, as well as the incapacitation of critical infrastructure during hostilities, on which US national security depends.

The purpose of the study is not so much to record the existence or absence of alien aircraft in the United States but to try to identify potential threats that could cause irreparable harm to the American government or the military.

In some cases, the systems of military aircraft transmitted information that the UFO was an aircraft controlled by someone. That is why US intelligence is very concerned about the possibility of opposing states like China, Russia, or another nation using disruptive technologies for their own purposes, as this will greatly undermine the position of the United States in the geopolitical aspect.

The United States is one of the most advanced states in the field of weapons: in the 2020 financial year alone, the military budget of this country amounted to $ 778 billion.

To collect information about UFOs, American intelligence used data from the US National Aerospace Intelligence Agency, as well as the FBI, air, land, and naval forces. For the analysis, we took information about unidentified flying objects from 2004 to 2021. The cases were investigated by the United States Task Force on Unidentified Air Events.

According to her reports, most UFOs are not optical illusions, but real physical objects that have been detected by radar, infrared radiation, or electro-optical means.

The lack of explanation for most UFO occurrences is considered a consequence of a lack of reliable data and technical difficulties. US intelligence also did not consider the stories of pilots and military analysts as evidence unless they were corroborated by sensors.

Despite the conducted research, most cases of detection of unidentified flying objects remained unidentified. As an example of the explained phenomenon, a descending balloon is given, which interfered with the means of observation. The researchers could not identify the rest of the cases, citing problems with the processing and collection of information.

In the future, the Task Force on Unidentified Aerial Events plans to expand its scope of work, as well as attract additional researchers and use artificial intelligence algorithms to group patterns in recorded data.
