The first hearing was scheduled for November last year but was postponed
Severina Kojic (48) has a new hearing scheduled for Thursday at the Zagreb Municipal Civil Court, Media writes. This time the teacher is suing. The lawsuit was filed in April last year due to an incident at the school in October 2019.
The teacher is asking the singer for 70,000 kuna (about 19,500 KM) in compensation. There is a preparatory hearing in the Palace of Justice on Thursday, where Seva and the teacher do not have to appear. The first hearing was scheduled for November last year but was postponed. The lawsuit was initiated in April last year. Seve did not appear at the last two hearings initiated by Judge Lucija Lasić in the dispute against her, also in the Palace of Justice.
The judge sued the singer in February last year for violating her right to privacy and demanded compensation of 20,000 kunas (about 5,500 KM). Namely, after the incident at the school in October 2019, Severina stated at a press conference on the occasion of the beginning of her regional tour “Magic Tour”:
- I do not know why I am surprised that this is happening to my systematic psychological rape by fathers and institutions when in this country neither women nor girls have judicial protection and support for physical rape. I myself went through a similar rape at the County Court in Split, in the court proceedings of an attempt to take away a child from Judge Lucija Lasic.
Lasic was on the court panel at the Split County Court deciding on Severina's appeal against the verdict that the boy lived with his father, Serbian businessman Milan Popovic (55), while his mother saw him, and Severina was deprived of the right to decide on health care issues. and boy education. That verdict raised a lot of dust in the public, and Severina and her team of lawyers are putting a lot of effort into the appeal. At the session of the panel of the Split County Court in February last year, Judge Lasić requested an exemption from the case for the first time. Her first request for exemption was rejected, but Lasic again requested an exemption on the grounds that she had initiated civil proceedings for damages against one of the parties to the proceedings, namely against Severina Kojic.
Apart from the judge and the teacher, the singer is still arguing with her former partner Milan Popović about her son at the County Court in Split. As the singer's lawyer, Mate Matic, said, the expert's findings are still pending. Severina, on the other hand, does not seem to be bothered by the numerous lawsuits they have filed against her. In recent days, she has been posting provocative photos in swimsuits on her social network and she remembers summer.
As we have learned, Seva has been at home in Zagreb for the last few days, and she is being visited by manager Tomislav Petrovic. Previously, her mother Ana was with her. She has not seen her husband Igor Kojic (33), with whom she is still married, since April last year, according to the singer's neighbors in Kozjak.
